I am a recovered alcoholic Who suffers with anxiety and panic disorder, OCD and agoraphobia. I not only suffer from these illnesses but I am passionate about these fields also. The knowledge that I have gained in these fields over many years both through my personal and professional life has given me the inspiration to write this blog on a daily basis and record podcasts once weekly to share my knowledge and personal journeys aswel as advice and guidance on these powerful life crippling illnesess to help change the lives of others that do too suffer from, or are affected by these illnesses in order to hopefully help as many people get well and recover. After all we are all in this together aren’t we ? Let’s share the knowledge strength and hope because WE DO RECOVER !!!!
Pity… I was hoping to find out more about you…

It does cripple you, I went into a bit of a panic mode Monday and it has taken me a couple of days to get myself in order again. I was waiting for some blood test results, to come back so I can have an operation and the waiting, pain started getting to me. I just could not do anything for a few days, I just sat

The word ‘life’s
is spelled “lives,” I think. Regarding all the posts, less is more I found out. When you become a 12 post a day person it’s harder to keep up. I still wonder if you are selling monetized 12 step recovery treatment centers. I did better with 90 in 90. Rehab, and the co-opting and adaptations to the big book like ‘a drug is a drug is a drug’ and ‘no relationships or major decisions in the first year,’ I never found that in the big book, which I can quote. I’m not even an alcoholic I found out about six months ago. If I drink once a month it’s rare and I don’t even really like it. Allison

Firstly thank you for pointing that correction out I will make sure it is amended. Secondly I would say that I would share 100 times a day if I could because I am very passionate about the topics. As I’ve already stated previously I am not selling anything what so ever and you can obviously clearly see that as you have just read this page which is ABOUT ME. Also as a kind piece of advice with regards now confirming that you are now not an alcoholic I would like to congratulate you on that because myself and I’m sure many others wish we could again be like that. But you see I know that I’m an addict so that is not possible for me to do ever again but the advice is this. Just don’t become complacent because addiction is a cunning and baffling thing and it will creep up on you without you even knowing it also just don’t let this end up being denial as I have seen it a thousand times before. Good luck drinking like a gentleman/lady and keep safe and well
